Gravure Coating Machine is based on an engraved roller running between a coating shower and fill up every engrave speck of the roller with coating fluid. It wipes out this surplus coating using the doctor blade. It saves this coating to the substrate when it moves between an engraved roller and a pressure roller.

One of the most common types of coaters today is the Gravure Coating Machine that applies less material, but with greater accuracy than other alternatives.
